Armed Forces Covenant Fund’s Force for Change programme

Applications are still open for round two of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund’s Force for Change programme. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for community projects working to: reduce isolation and promote integration; support post-Covid recovery in local Armed Forces communities affected by isolation. To be eligible, organisations must be either:

• A registered charity or Community Interest Company (CIC) with substantial recent experience of supporting Armed Forces communities and have been registered for at least one year at the time of application
• An Armed Forces unit or base
• A local authority
• A school

Strengthening Civil Society programme: new funding to support expert legal ‘hub’ organisations

The Baring Foundation have launched a new funding round to support expert legal organisations which support and collaborate with other civil society organisations to create social change. This funding can be used to support hub activities which use legal action in all its forms – whether that is to empower individuals and groups, persuade public and private bodies, challenge government, or a mix of all three. VisitBritain Domestic Support Fund

VisitBritain is offering grants of up to £15,000 to not-for-profit organisations, associations, and charities based in the UK. Their Domestic Support Fund aims to support the recovery of the UK business events industry from the Covid-19 pandemic. The Domestic Support Fund will provide financial support to organisations hosting domestic business events from 21 June to 17 December 2021. The events are defined as: meetings and conferences. Grants will not support award ceremonies, AGM’s, incentives, social or family groups, weddings, student, or leisure tour groups. Organisations can apply for £30 per delegate (cash incl. VAT) attending an event. Approved applications will receive financial support, after the event has taken place, and submission of evidence to support total number of attendees. There is no deadline for applications, but organisations are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. UK Youth grants for youth organisations

UK Youth is offering grants of up to £50,000 to grassroots youth organisations based in England that has suffered in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible organisations must be based and deliver work in England and have a turnover of less than £250,000. Eligible organisations must deliver youth work through a range of activities or services and have been operational for at least two years. Grants are also available to organisations that provide a consistent venue/space where young people can meet regularly and participate in ongoing youth work activities. Applications are open right now and will close at midnight on Sunday 18 July 2021. The application form and instructions on how to apply are available on the UK Youth website.
