Paddy Power to donate £10,000 to LGBT+ charities for every World Cup goal Russia scores
Paddy Power the bookmaker has launched a World Cup LGBT+ donation campaign in partnership with Attitude magazine. In what is either an incredibly savvy, or very cynical marketing move, Paddy Power has pledged to donate £10,000 for every goal scored by the Russian football team at the World Cup to “initiatives that make football more inclusive to the LGBT+ community”.

Oxfam GB banned permanently from Haiti
Oxfam GB has been permanently banned from operating in Haiti after failing to inform the authorities about sexual misconduct allegations made against some employees. In a statement shared with Civil Society News, Oxfam GB apologised again to the government and Haitian people. It also confirmed that the charity remained committed to “strengthen our safeguarding globally” following the sexual misconduct allegations in February. Oxfam GB is “disappointed but understands” the decision made.
