Local Charities Day 2017
Local Charities Day is an initiative by the Department for Media, Culture and Sport to highlight the amazing work of small charities across the country. Ranging from Governance to GDPR, we have a range of free resources to help small charities continue the amazing work they do everyday in communities across the UK.

DSC’s work with small charities
In celebration of Local Charities Day the research team in Liverpool have been visiting charities that are doing extraordinary work to meet the impact of public sector/funding cuts and sharing their stories. By releasing one charity case study every month, we aim to create a network from which individual charities in Liverpool are given a platform in which they can voice issues, achievements, communicate any support that they need and more importantly, how much society would be bereft without them. – read the first case study here
