Versus Arthritis: Let’s Move Together Fund (Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland)
As well as increasing the availability of exercise opportunities for people with musculoskeletal conditions ‘this fund will also support organisations and groups facing financial hardship due to the COVID crisis, with a view of enabling delivery of sport and physical activity work in the future.’ Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available. Applications are particularly welcomed from organisations supporting people with long-term health conditions, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, people with disabilities and people facing other socio-economic disadvantages. The fund will close to applications from Scotland today (Friday 4 June 2021). Applications for projects in Northern Ireland and Wales can still apply after this date. Find out more here.

Cultural Development Fund – Round 2 (England excluding London)
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s new £18.5 million fund will provide capital investment to transformative place-based creative and cultural initiatives that promote social and economic recovery from the impact of Covid-19. Grants of £2 million to £5 million are available. Applications should be from partnerships led by a local authority, Local Enterprise Partnership or other appropriate body. Virgin Media O2 launches ‘Together Fund’ to supercharge nation’s communities
The “Together Fund” is a nationwide initiative designed to specifically support local charities that champion and celebrate community spirit, belonging and togetherness across the UK. Grants of £1,000 are available for environmental and community belonging projects, inspiring people across the UK to get together and create positive change for the causes they care most about. The Sylvia Waddilove Foundation UK
The foundation is accepting new applications to its COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to help small to medium sized organisations manage the financial impact of the pandemic, either because of increased demand for their services or loss of income. The fund is targeted at organisations in a critical position. To be eligible organisations must be a charity, CIC or registered society with an income below £500,000 and operate in one of the following areas:
• Education relating to non-domestic animals
• Visual and performing arts
• Medical research
• The relief of disability or severe illness
• The accommodation of those in need

Alec Dickson Trust
Grants of up to £500 are available to UK-based volunteering or community service projects, organised and run by people under 30 years old, which directly or indirectly respond to COVID-19. Applications must also align with Public Health England guidance on how to volunteer safely during the pandemic. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 23 June 2021.
