The Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund
Social Investment Business have announced that its Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund will close for applications at 11.59pm on Wednesday 31 March 2021. According to its website, to date the fund has awarded funding to 57 charities and social enterprises, with a total value of over £20m. There is around £9 million of funding left. The fund continues to be a loan programme, however grants may be awarded alongside a loan if it is clear that applicants would struggle to meet a viability threshold for a loan without a grant.

The Small Charities Challenge Fund
Applications to the current funding round of The Small Charities Challenge Fund, run by UK Aid Direct, will close at 5pm on the Thursday 25 March 2021.
The Small Charities Challenge Fund makes project grants of up to £50,000 to small UK-registered charities and not-for-profit organisations that are seeking to address the Global Goals (officially known as Sustainable Development Goals) to create a better world by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, SCCF’s latest funding round will prioritise applications that can demonstrate that they are responding to the longer-term impacts of COVID-19 in the context of the Global Goals. Swimathon Foundation
A reminder that the deadline for applications to the Swimathon Foundation’s Covid-19 Relief Fund 2.0 is the Friday 26 February 2021. Swimming and aquatic clubs and organisations experiencing short-term financial hardship due to the pandemic can apply for grants of between £250 and £1,000. Click here to apply.
Central England Co-operative
A reminder that the closing date for applications to Central England Co-operative’s Community Dividend Fund is the Sunday 28 February 2021. Grants of between £100 to £5,000 are available to co-operative members for projects which help local communities deal with the impact of Covid-19. Click here to apply.

National Lottery Grants for Heritage 2021-22
The National Lottery Heritage Fund has reopened for applications. It returns with new funding priorities for heritage projects that will help support the wider UK economic and social recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. There are three levels of grants available ranging from £3,000 to £5 million. Find out more about how to apply for the grant here.

Community Recovery Innovation Challenge – West Midlands Combined Authority
The Community Recovery Innovation Challenge is a programme for innovative programmes or ideas which can improve the lives of people in the West Midlands as the country recovers from the pandemic. The top three entries will receive coaching and project support worth £15,000 while the top 20 entries will receive £500 in cash. Entries must be submitted by 21 March 2021.
